A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

At its core, AMADEUS is a fascinating psychological study of Salieri’s deteriorating belief system as he is driven mad by his jealousy of Mozart’s “mockingly undeserved genius.” AMADEUS is not a story centered on Salieri’s conflict with Mozart, but instead Salieri’s conflict with God. The title AMADEUS interestingly translates to “love of God.” It is this divine love that Salieri longs for. Since youth, he has devoted his life to serving God and glorifying the divine through his music in return for the gift of talent. Discovery of Mozart’s genius launches Salieri into conflict convinced that the divine has betrayed him.
The setting in an abandoned church under restoration heightens this central conflict and framing device turning the setting into a character representing Salieri’s conflict with God. The architecture can react to Salieri as proxy for God and the abandoned nature of the building substitutes as a visual representation for Salieri’s crumbling belief system and psyche. AMADEUS forces us to reflect and consider our own mechanisms behind self-worth and asks us if it is possible to form an authentic self-image where our worth is not predicated on external (social or cosmic) validation.
